Macy's Room

I'm so excited that Macy's room is almost done. With only 7 weeks to go, you can imagine that my excitment (and nesting) has become substantial. I've been a horrible blogger, so I thought I would take a few minutes to give you a tour of our Beautiful Baby's new room.

This is her changing table and flower lights from IKEA. I love these lights. When I was in Phoenix visiting my Dad, I found these at IKEA. I decided I would order them online for her room. NO CAN DO SAYS IKEA!! In fact, you can only order a few items on their website. So...I made my poor father, stepmother and two brothers drive 40 minutes back to IKEA to pick them up. I must say....I still think they were worth it!

This is her new Dresser.....Again a funny story. The changing table in Macy's room was a gift my Grandma found at a Garage sale. Trace and I cleaned it, painted it white and added the cutest pink knobs to make it complete. Then the search for the dresser began. I must have spent two months looking online and in furniture store for the perfect dresser. NOTHING!! Finally...last week in a last ditch effort, Trace and I drove to the Walmart in Noel, MO to look at this dresser. It worked and we bought it. I had planned on a budge of around $150-200 for her dresser. I was so pleased to find this one for $60. However...the knobs had to match. Price tag for that....$30. Gotta love the fact that we spent half as much on the knobs as we did on the dresser. Anything for the Macy girl!
This is my favorite part of the room. Trace's brother, Bryce came over a painted this beautiful painting to match the bedding. I think it is so perfect. I can't believe how well it matches. Boy has some serious skill!

Her closet! As you can imagine....girl has more clothes than me. It's already filled!! On the door....the adorable bag that Josh, Cineca and Lennon had made for her.
Speaking of clothes...I just had to share this one. Here is the onesie Trace and I found for her to wear in October. On the top you will see her Halloween bow that I made this evening. I pretty proud of it!
