Our First Big Snow

Well...it's official. The Skordal family has finally had their first big snow of the year. It's been so exciting today. Above is a picture of our home around 11 AM this morning. Needless to say...we got some snow. Enough to cancel school tomorrow!! Which was a thrill to me. Tomorrow was supposed to be my first day back. NOT ANY MORE! :) So...with the big snow...Trace and I decided to let Macy experience the snow first hand today. Being the overprotective first time Mom that I am....I bundled like no other. Look at the process below.

Phase One: White Long Sleeve Onesie and White fleece Socks.

Phase Two: Brown Fleece Pants as well as Brown Socks.

Phase Three: Purple Fleece Hoodie

Phase Four: Fleece lined Pink Snow Suit (adorable gift from the Jester Family). Needless to say...she was ready to go. Our trip out into the snow...didn't last long. She made it about 10 minutes before she was sleeping in her Daddy's arms. Snow wears a girl out!! But it was fun none the less.

The Snow Angel spot she made. Is that the cutes thing you've ever seen or what?!?!
The afternoon was filled with fun, snow and Hot Cocoa. These are the moments I became a Mommy for. She's is such an amazing blessing.
